Born in Caracas, raised on Galician folk and flamenco, trained at Berklee. Today he composes and arranges for The Mariscal.

He used to see music in colour. At Berklee he learned to listen from the inside, and the colours slowly went out.
Chromesthesia is a kind of synesthesia: sounds arrive with colours. Enrique says his faded once he began listening to music analytically.
In July 2024 he recorded double bass, as a session player, for the score of American Manhunt: Osama bin Laden. Netflix Music released the soundtrack in March 2025.

Galicia
His grandfather, Enrique Gómez II, multi-instrumentalist and poet, co-founded a Galician folk group with his brothers and was its percussionist. His great-uncle Anxo sang flamenco as an amateur cantaor.
1987
Venezuela
Born on 6 October, fourth of his name. He grew up between Galician jigs, flamenco and Spanish classical guitar. At 11 he picked up the cuatro and learned Venezuelan folk. The electric bass came later, by pure chance.
